Bedfordshire Freemasons Help Provide New Car

SERV Herts and Beds were presented with a new car at Bedfordshire Freemasons’ headquarters at the Keep in Kempston yesterday to further expand their service in delivering blood, frozen breast milk and other urgently required medical supplies to Hospitals across our region.

This was a joint presentation between Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Freemasons, the Bedfordshire Widow’s Sons (BEDA), and Charlie Vowden, who together with her father Steve, a Hertfordshire mason, completed the Four Points Challenge in her MGA raising over £5,500 for the charity.

Ian Hunt, Chair of SERV Herts and Beds, gave a brief talk to all present expressing the charities’ gratitude to all who had contributed to the purchase of this new car, which will make a real difference to the level of service the volunteers at SERV can provide,
